Speaking on the Footballer’s Football Podcast, Michail Antonio has been full of praise for Jarrod Bowen after his return from injury.
The winger came back last weekend to score the winner against Everton, and he repeated the trick on Thursday night, netting the opening goal against Lyon in the Europa League.
Antonio was very impressed by Bowen’s return, and he’s described the former Hull City man as ‘quality’.
What’s been said?
Antonio praised Bowen.
“Yeah, the boy can score goals, that’s one thing with him, he can score goals. He’s a quality player. His first game back, a good 60 or 70 minutes under his belt and the goal. Hopefully he can keep bagging and we can keep climbing that table,” Antonio said.

West Ham’s talisman
Declan Rice may be the media darling in the West Ham United squad, and while the England midfielder is excellent, Jarrod Bowen has been the Hammers’ key man this season.
He’s scored vital goals in vital moments, and he’s been at it again this week against both Everton and Lyon.
West Ham are desperate to play Champions League football next season, be that via a fourth-place finish or a Europa League triumph, and if they do achieve either of those feats, they will have a lot to thank Bowen for.
The winger is, as Antonio says, quality, and he has to go down as one of the Hammers’ best signings of the modern era.
